 Gary Larkin Appointed as Team Manager
Gary Larkin was appointed as First Team Manager by Club Executive

On Tue night last (12th Jan), Gary Larking was appointed as Manager of the First Team. Gary was an outstanding player for the club and he is hoping to bring his experience to bear on the other side of the touchline and help our lads go one better this year and gain promotion to Intermediate ranks, hopefully with a couple of pieces of silverware to show for our efforts. Speaking after his appointment Gary said he was "delighted that the Club Executive had given him their support and that he would give it his best shot". Gary will be joined by Colm McMahon and Noel Melvin.

Seans lose to Currin in Dr Ward Cup Decider
Dr Ward Cup Final Replay Currin 0-15 Seans 1-09

The season ended on a disappointing note on Sunday last when our junior squad went down to Currin in St Tiernach Park Clones after extra time in the Junior Football League final replay on a scoreline of Currin 0 -15 Seans 1- 9. This was a much livelier affair that their drawn game a week earlier, Currin showed their intent with a Stephen Smith point after only thirty seconds of play, our boys kept in touch and the sides were level as they headed to the tunnel 5 point a piece. Derek Mc Mahon opening his teams account with a long range free kick that was allowed bounce over the bar, James Treanor Damien Connolly and two from Padraig Mc Guirk, cancelling out the opposition scorers Stephen Smith (1) Jack Mc Carron (2 F) Ger O Callaghan (1) and half back Declan Smith (1).
