Championship Defeat to Cremartin
JFC Cremartin 0-09 Seans 0-08 (Sun 4th July 2010)

Our adult squad will want to forget an abysmal second half performance in their Junior football championship quarter final clash with Cremartin last Sunday, a meagre one point return in those thirty minutes was not enough to prevent them ending up on the wrong side of a 0 - 9 to 0 -8 score line. Having led at the break by three points they looked well placed with a cross-field breeze also in their favour to forge ahead. That expect push never materialised instead it was the opposition and their dominant midfield who virtually laid siege to the Seans goal in that second half as they set about overhauling the interval deficit.....

'C' Team share the spoils with Neighbours Aghabog
RFL D4 - Seans 2-09 Aghabog 2-09 (Mon 5th Apr 2010)

Our “C” squads Easter Monday hosting of visitors Aghabog in the RFL Div 4 competition ended all square on 2 - 9 apiece. This game played in gusty conditions was an enjoyable affair with some fine fielding, good passing movements and excellent scores. Daire Freeman bagging his goal with some aplomb, Gary Larkin now in the twilight of his career also showed he hasn’t lost his eye for the net, rowing in with his team second major. Further back Adrian Mc Carron in goal made a number of fine saves and was the toast of team mates defying the visitors as he did from the penalty spot. Ruari Mc Carron made a number of timely interceptions in an over worked defence and was often the rock on which many of the visitors attacks faltered especially in the second half when assisted by that strong breeze. John Paul and Eunan Mc Entee along with Conal Mc Crudden used their superior height advantage to good effect ensuring a plentiful supply of the ball around the middle of the field. Up front as well as the two goal scorers it was good to see Adrian Larkin moving well again after a long lay off through injury.
