Bingo at The Seans
Well done to all our super winners on Monday night as we treated them to nearly €6000 in prizes. No luck for anyone with the main jackpot and it moves on to €11500 for next week, as does the bonus number move to €200 with no winner, and all other jackpots are back in place. But it’s another Bank Holiday Bonanza next week and we guarantee at least TWO of our €1000 mini jackpots will go. Follow us on all our social media outlets for all our updates and promotions.

Junior League
Aghabog were our visitors for round five of the league on Sunday afternoon. The local derby is always value for money; however, some monsoon weather conditions did curtail this slightly. That said the first half was tight as nether side gave the other much room for manoeuvring despite Aghabog having the wind advantage. At the break it was all square, but the second period would resume with a whirlwind of two pointers from the Seans. Within the first five minutes, the lads had shot the lights out and gone six points in front. They played with great unity and patience in creating opportunities which were duly converted into scores. While the visitors battled hard within their hosts half, they were unable to reach parity. A scoreline of 1-21 to 0-12 was the conclusion but the Seans probably took full advantage of the windy conditions in the second thirty minutes. Well done the senior debutants and their hardier annual comrades on a confident and composed display throughout some horrid weather conditions.

Minor Boys
The Minor lads headed for Ballybay on Tuesday night for their latest encounter with St. Patricks in the league campaign. Having already suffered a defeat at home to Pats, the lads probably felt they had a point to proof. The Seans started sprightly with backs and forwards interlinking well and converting scores at will. They had amassed a strong lead at the break, and this would be enough to see out the game as St Patricks tried to reduce the deficit in the second period. The competition now comes to a halt for the duration of the Junior and Leaving Cert exams and a little time to reset for the championship and remainder of the league.
