BINGO AT THE SEANS

                                                                                                                                                                                               SENIOR MENS ULSTER JUNIOR LEAGUE

Our Senior Men's team travelled to Derrytresk, in Co. Tyrone, on Sunday last for round two of the Ulster Junior League. With a lot of absentees from the previous week, there were opportunities for many other players to take part. This was a good competitve fixture with both teams fairly well matched. The home side made better use of their chances in the first half and despite a late rally they held on to a two point advantage at the break. With a strong wind advantage, Derrytresk began to impose themsleves and kicked some great scores to shoot themselves well ahead in the second period. This gap would not be breached by the Seans, and even with a converted penalty the game was lost by seven points. It was  worthwhile run out for the lads notwithstanding the result. We have a break this Sunday and we await Truagh for the final round of games on Sunday, the 1st of March at home.

LIAM MC CARTHY COMING TO THE SEANS
It was great to see the Liam McCarthy Cup on Friday night last. It was compliments of the Cahill family and we are most grateful to them. Many families took the opportunity to have a photo with cup as they were registering with Sean Ógs Academy. This was a unique evening and enjoyed by all.
