Senior Men Junior League
Round three of the league was an away trip to Oram on Saturday evening last. While we knew it would be a tough encounter we never really got up to the speed of the game for the duration. The first half presented a strong breeze in our favour but we were unable to capitalise. However, the five point deficit at the break, was quickly reduced to two in the opening minutes of the second half with a couple of well taken scores. A ray of hope, perchance? Alas our optimism was dashed as Oram took control and we were on the back foot to the end. That was defeat number three and frustration all around given the hard work being put in each week. However, it’s still the early stages and time is still on our side. Next up is Aghabog on Saturday evening at home.
