Senior Men Championship Our final game in the Junior Championship series takes place on Saturday evening at home, when Scotstown will be our opposition at 5pm. With two wins, one draw, and a loss we are sitting in fourth place on five points. Advancement to the next stage is priority and hopefully the lads can keep it together.
U12 Boys Congratulations to our U12’s who overcame Clan na Gael in the Division 7 Cup Final on Sunday last. In an impressive performance from the off, the team displayed some wonderful skill and team play which kept them ahead from early on. Clan na Gael battled hard, and despite a rally of scores, our lads found another gear and got the game over the line. The Club would like thank the coaches and players for their commitment all year. Their level of skill on the day is a testimony to the hard work they have all put in this year. Nothing beats a well drilled outfit, and the lads were perfect on the day.

U16 Boys Hard luck to our U16 Boys who exited the Championship with a defeat to Latton last Saturday. The Club would like to compliment the young management team and all the players on their hard work and efforts during the season. Having been defeated in the league final, they felt redemption would be in the championship, but als it was not to be. There has been a lot of progress with the team this year and good work done.

Our Sean Ógs Academy closed the curtain on another super season this week. As a wee reward, all the kids received a new football to practice in months ahead. The Club would sincerely like to thank Derek McMahon, who as a parent and a coach in the Academy, had no hesitation in sponsoring all the footballs over all the ages groups. A very generous gift to all. Also Eunan McEntee was on hand to distribute a skills schedule to the children to help them practice.
Juvenile Fundraiser October 25th
Keep free the 25th of October as live horse racing comes to the Complex. This Juvenile Fundraising event will be like no other as we saddle up our jockeys, entertain the owners and applaude the trainers. Please support the youngsters when they call and you can purchase a jockey , a trainer , an owner or all three.
