If you have any queries, please message us on Facebook, Instagram etc, and we will assist in every way possible. Always remember, in playing bingo at home everybody stays safe.

Seniors

Our Seniors dipped their toe into the Intermediate League with round one away to Blackhill. In the spring sunshine we started well, albeit slowly, when veteran campaigner Noel Rice opened the scoring after ten minutes with a point. We had tagged on another couple of points when Adam O Driscoll rattled the home sides net and we were four points clear. A late rally by Blackhill and we entered the break up by a single point. The second half started here we left off with Blackhill picking off scores. Two points being our tally for the second half and this was not good enough to catch the home team. Defeat by three points in the end and probably not a true reflection of the game given the chances that we produced. Still, we move on, and work on the mistakes in preparation for Doohamlet , at home, on the 7th of May.

Sean Ogs

A great turn out on Saturday for week one of our Academy. Thanks to the coaches for being available and to the parents for encouraging the children to take part. The U9’s will travel to Emyvale on Saturday morning at 10am for their first blitz of the season. Good luck to all.

U13’s

The 13’s will play at home this week and host Doohamlet on Saturday morning at 11am.

U15’s

The lads travelled to Truagh last Thursday and played out an exciting end to end game. With nothing between the teams, every score was vital and although we started brightly the home side stayed very much in touch. Missed chances in the first half would be rued in the second period as we ended up chancing a slim lead on Truagh. That said, we battled to the final whistle but it wasn’t enough and our first defeat of the season was confirmed. 2-12 to 1-12 was the final score but a very entertaining game for the spectators. Latton will be the next test on Thursday night, at home, with throw in at 7.30pm.

U17’s

The 17’s had Monaghan Harps B team as visitors on Sunday morning. With small numbers we settled on thirteen aside which gave huge room for free-flowing football. Scores were a plenty and having sustained the pressure of the first half, the Seans, took control and pushed on to the front. However, two late runs from the Harps netted two goals and they sneaked victory by a point in added time. A good workout overall and we await our further fixtures.
